Altona Landcare Reserve, my favourite place for birding in the Barossa!!
With such great conditions weather wise in the Barossa Valley this week I headed down to Altona to see what was around, these photos are just some of the great birds to be found in this beautiful reserve!

I think this 'Bird' was keeping the adult Eagles away, as at one point while checking powerlines it was hovering right near the nest! |
