Barking Owl

Not exactly a birding story but to do with birds none the less!

This is my first attempt at painting with watercolours! I thought it would be a good way to use some of my bird photos. Although having said that this painting has been done from one of my favourite photos out of a book titled Birds of the Night by David Hollands.

So far I am really enjoying the whole painting process and am going to try a few more! Now I just need to buy the right sized frame next time!!
